that inhabits the dark rooms of my being
to the junction of the night more absent
up to where even the heart retracts
and insomnia love lies

where / in retrospect my days remaining
it drops the precious idyll I
with my soul absent
and my death trembling

che abita le oscure camere del mio essere
fino al bivio delle notte più assenti
fino a dove anche il cuore si retrae
e l’insonnia dell’amore giace
sulle cuciture degli occhi all’alba

si stilla il prezioso idillio che ho
con l’anima mia assente
